My System Specs

Default

Yes it would slow down any game which requires frequent maps / info from the HDD that it's installed on. Considering how big of a difference running an SSD can make when compared to a standard HDD (or even a fast HDD) on the internal Sata port a USB 2 connection is going to be brutal in some instances. (And I know brutal.... extra slow 750G 5400 RPM HDD in my laptop.... ;) ).
