Ya, see I don't get this. Driver updates ARE AMD ironing out their problems...

Truth is, drivers from both camps work admirably well. Especially if you're using a single card with a single display. I've never run into any problems, and anyone who says otherwise is just quoting problems from a decade ago when driver issues were acually real.
