The pc will be used for games and browsing the web. I would like to over clock it without water cooling it, if it is a must adjust it accordingly. I can purchase parts from both the US and Canada, and I am looking for used stuff as well.
I'll be using either 1920x1080 monitor or 1680x1050 one.
Things I need: CPU, GPU, SSD, Motherboard Power supply, Case and RAM.
Here is what I was thinking:
CPU : Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor
$180
GPU: EVGA GTX 680
$500
SSD: 128GB Crucial M4 2.5" SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive SSD
$110 (CAN BE SMALLER SIZE)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
$159.99
Power Supply: Thermaltake 750W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
$89.99
Case: No idea, don't know what to look for in a case. I can go a little over budget on the case to ensure my comp doesn't over heat.
$40-$100
RAM: Don't know the name, but its around
$25
Note: I took most of these from
Build the Fastest $1200 PC - July | Tek Syndicate just so I had a place to start.
I plan on purchasing and building the comp within the next 2 months.
