My System Specs

Default

Well my DIR-655 has worked flawlessly as an AP for the past couple years now, whether my AC is on or off.

Maybe it's best to look into a UPS? Sounds like your AC might be making your power dirty and possibly affecting the router.

I highly doubt replacing the router is going to do anything. You'll still have interference issues if that's the cause.

Is your router relatively close to the AC unit? Maybe try moving it else where in the house?
