Did you actually do any driver updates around when this started to happen? This is a kernel mode error so most normal software is not going to be able to cause this
*. Software that could would be anti-virus or something that installs a system service. Did you put make any changes in those areas?
I would not rule out a problem with your mainboard. Maybe the self diagnostics fixed it for you.
