Another + for the glass shops, they usually have both real glass and plexi!
I had a factory window in my X2000F and it was about 1/8" thick plastic. I didn't like it was on the outside of the panel though, and it scratched so easily when cleaning :(
I went to a glass shop and paid $15 to have them cut a nice thick 5mm (~1/4") smoked grey (black tinted) glass piece of real glass to fit on the inside. I used thin double sided clear tape to hold it in, and I cut the lil bolts that hold the old stock piece in and used a lil dab of epoxy to hold them in as they didnt thread quite as well as I'd hoped after cutting them shorter. It also gives the door a nice heft to it and helps with sound. It turned out very nice!
