Here are the things you should have enabled and disabled in the OC section of your motherboard with a 2500k.

CPU Base Frequency [10kHz]: 10000
Adjust CPU Ratio: 33
Adjust CPU Ratio in OS: Disabled
Internal PLL Overvoltage: Enabled
EIST: Enabled
Intel Turbo Boost: Enabled
DRAM Frequency: Auto (you could set these manually to get also the most out of your ram, but this should only be done after you are done OCing your CPU)
Extreme Memory Profile [X.M.P.]: Enabled (only if your ram supports XMP)
DRAM Timing Mode: Auto (same as before about OCing ram)
Spread Spectrum: Enabled
vDroop Control: Low vDroop
CPU Core Voltage: Auto (this is if you want to overclock using an offset, you can also manually set this but if you want you CPU to last longer I personally recommend the offset method)
CPU I/O Voltage: Auto
DRAM Voltage: Auto (but if you see you are getting instability on memtest you can up this manually)
GPU Voltage: Auto
System Agent Voltage (SA): Auto
CPU PLL Voltage: Auto (could be manually increased for a more agressive OC)
...everything else on this page on: Auto

THEN GO IN "CPU FEATURES" at the bottom of the page.
Hyper-threading: Disabled
Active Processor Cores: ALL
Limit CPUID Maximum: Disabled
Execute Disable Bit: Enabled
Intel Virtualization Tech: Enabled
Power Technology: Custom
C1E Support: ENABLED
OverSpeed Protection: Disabled
Intel C-State: Enabled
Package C State limit: Auto
Long duration power limit (W): this varries based on your thermals and specific CPU (200 would be a good number)
Long duration power limit (ms): 1000
Short duration power limit (W): this varries based on your thermals and specific CPU (250 would be a good number)
Primary plane turbo power limit (W): 0
Secondary plane turbo power limit (W): 0
#(1-4)-Core Ratio Limit: set this to the ratio you want (ie. 46 = 4.6GHz)

One thing though, I have no clue how to set an off set voltage on MSI boards...but basically what you need to do is put the CPU under stress (prime95 for example), then check for the difference between the vcore and the VID. Your offset should be set to about that difference (although some testing and toying arround is needed).
Make sure you stress test your overclock properly to see it's stable and that it's not running too hot/loud.
