It was also in the post of the upcoming patch on the main Diablo 3 page. No details, just an announcement of the nerf. The change to the gem crafting will be welcome too. The change to the drops is the biggest thing people will like, and they said that Act 2 Inferno will be tuned.
There will be lots of whining, but my motto is "never use real money to buy in game items!" and you won't be pissed off when they change things.
Adapt and overcome, it is only a game folks :)
