I am a fan of Seagate as well. Not that there is anything wrong with WD Black at all, its just that the performance is nearly identical in seagate drives and they are cheaper (likely because of the issues they had years ago with the 7200.11 versions). Have had my 500gb 7200.12 for 3 years now with no issues at all (same type in my parent's for 2 years and the 1TB in my brother's for 2.5 years). Really its your call if its worth it.
