Well, he edits about everyday. But he loves to keep his videos short and to the point. I mean, I'm not sure how much hyperthreading actually cuts editing time from videos. If it cuts more than 30% rendering time than it might be worth it. However, it might be smarter to invest in an SSD instead of the hyperthreading. Some are telling me it's 20%. I don't deem it totally necessary.

Forgot to add in! He uses an AMD Dual-core clocked at like 3ghz. It takes him about 2 hours to render a 10 minute video at 1080p. I think it's safe to say that the 3570k will be about 4 times faster... Also, add in the nvidia gpu will help quite a bit.
