Couldn't tell you the last time I heard of anyone I know using a disk of any kind bar to install a hard copy of a game or for console games..
Watching movies from disks has been relegated to the dark ages.
Who doesn't have a dvd player anyway, they are like €20.. Blue-ray.. I know of very few people who ever bothered with them as most people don't care about quality above dvd anyway and the cost is extortionate.
IMO, make it a dvd player but forget blu ray.. waste of time and money.
I do however think that they are in trouble because the uniqueness they had initially with the wii evaporated a while back and they need something new to compensate.
