that setting doesn't do crap as I have a Samsung F4 of 2TB that still requires a few seconds when is being accessed to wake up. Same thing for WD 10EALS which is a 7200RPM drive. Apparently HD Tune Pro has a setting that can disable AAM ( short for Advanced Acoustic Management I think) which is the option that sends the HDD to sleep. It is trial for 15 days and 35$ the license after that. Otherwise you need a utility to disable that or reflash the bios of the HDD with that utility disabled. Might want to try the Seagate utility for that also.
