So what happened in the end? Judging from the silence i would have to assume you got a working board back. Also, most companies are under no obligation to tell you what they fixed. That tends to be proprietary knowledge. There ar elitterally thousands of components on a motherboard. The probability of one of those failing is pretty high. The fact that only a small percentage of motherboards are faulty is a pretty good indication of good quality control.....
