My System Specs

answer is simple sswilson : upgrade. nForce 4 is not the friendliest of chipsets for working with a SSD, doesn't even have AHCI mode, only raid, and the raid mode doesn't allow you to hook a single device like other , more modern nvidia chipsets will allow. In plus, old pcie 1.0/1.1 interface has only 250MB/s on a single lane which is inadequate for a SATA III SSD. My SSD attached now on a Silicon Image 3132 card is only doing 120MB/s read. Adding one of the sata III add in card would boost to around 200MB/s, while the Asus U3S6, assuming that it splits the 4 lanes equally between the NEC USB chip and the Marvell sata controllers, would give 500MB/s bandwith for the SSD. That is the only reason i Need it. People with SATA 3 on the mobos or with modern mobos having pcie 2.0 should not need this card, is just for upgrading old platforms.
