My System Specs

Default

Yes, the SCSI card is in a 16bit ISA slot in my 286 atm. The Seagate ST19171WC is connected with an 80-pin to 50-pin adapter. Unfortunately the two compaq BD0366459B drives I have are not usable with the same adapter. I would need a less-cheapcrap one.

On a side note, I actually no longer have a board with MCA slots but according to a guy I know with an MCA equipped 386SLC system & SCSI card, you can pull 3MB/s to 4MB/s from a 1997ish SCSI drive. Much faster! :P
