My System Specs

Default

For most recreational gamers, the LGA1155 platform is more than enough. The only reason to get into the LGA2011 platform is either the extra cores (most games don't scale well past 3 cores) or the higher number of PCI-E lanes for multiple graphics card configurations. Unless you are running a multiple-monitor setup, go with the LGA1155 and the best single-GPU card you can afford.
