Kinda contradicting advice...
You tell him to get 4GB of RAM, yet a 32bit OS cannot read all 4GB. He needs to keep 64bit Vista.
I agree with the other advice posted. Get a 9800GX2 or wait about a week or 2 for the new cards. Then you don't need to go with a crappy NVIDIA chipset just because you want to run SLI. A board based on the P45 or X38 or X48 chipset would do nicely IMO.
And I don't really consider the MX Revolution a gaming mouse but to each their own. Might want to check out the G7 if you need wireless.
