My System Specs

Default 6 Pin PCIe to 8 Pin EPS adapter
So I need another 8 Pin eps connector and was wondering if this adapter would allow me to turn a 6 pin PCie to 8 pin EPS. The picture looks like what I want, but the description of which end is male/female doesn't coincide with the picture. Anyone use these types of adapters before? Will it work?
