 something wrong with your test
I use 6870 + gts450 ddr 3 with catalyst 11-12 and nvidia 285.62 + physx mod 1.05ff, my previous physx card is 9600gt.
I think your result with gt430 is correct, but surely something wrong with your hybrid physx when you test the gtx460.
Fluidmark same setting with you : 9600gt = 11 sps, gts450 ddr3 = 16 sps, gtx460 = should be better
Fluidmark 60.000 particles, no post fx : 9600gt = 23 sps, gts450 = 35 sps, gtx460 = should be better
Batman AA physx high : 9600gt = 64 avg, gts450 = 86 avg
Batman AA physx off : 9600gt = 85 avg, gts450 = 158 avg <== physx off fps boost ? too bad this is only happen in Batman AA
Mafia 2 benchmark : 9600gt = 29 fps, gts450 = 28 fps <== wtf ?
I dont trust this benchmark, so I did another test :
I played Mafia 2 chapter 1 at the scene when we shoot at the truck and the tank, and the result is :
physx off : 60-70 fps, physx high+9600gt = 30-35fps, physx high+gts450 = 50-65 fps (this is very good)
There are so many patch out there that can improve Mafia 2 fps by removing some apex effect.
