My System Specs

Default GD05B HTPC

Building a HTPC/transcoding box for my Brother to pick up when he comes to visit for Christmas.

Built out of my "old" parts.. so far the pieces I've decided 100% on are:

i7 860 w/Scythe Big Shuriken (accidentally ordered the old 1000 model)
Gigabyte H55M-USB3
Some assortment of spare RAM I have laying around
Silverstone GD05B

The GD05 looks great, has a tiny volume, and fits perfectly when stacked with other AV equipment. It looks like it would be a good fit at first with a Powercolor HD6850 SCS3 passive...

The huge SCS3 heatsink won't fit!!! It's barely too large for the height, and too wide if I want to keep an optical drive. Probably too wide with the Big Shuriken on the CPU as well. I might have to resort to giving him my single slot XFX 5770 but I love that card too much (it's in my own HTPC at the moment).
