That is overkill if you are buying quality parts unless you know you are going to SLI/Crossfire. For a single low/mid range GPU 500w, high end gpu 600-650w, and SLI/Xfire 750-850w depending on which cards. I would only go for more than 850w if you are using 3+ GPU/ multiple CPU/ extreme OCing.

As for the original post, it seems like a great price for those parts. I would suggest staying on the intel side for a new build over AMD, but I would be curious to see the prices for each of the parts you listed and how much it would go up if you switched to intel.
