AMD really needs to re-evaluate what they want to do as a company.
They need to really pressure the department that does their Driver Development otherwise the next gen of AMD Radeon cards will not hold a candle if driver support is lacking.
They need to go back to making silicon designs by hand and modular instead of this process now. Otherwise in 5-10 we won't seem them around anymore...
