GTX 570 SLI beats a GTX 590. Also, you would lose quite a lot more on buying a GTX 590 once the GTX600 series launches because that card is priced so high.

Also, Quad SLI does not scale well at all, often it is beaten by Tri-SLI. Tri-SLI is currently the best config.
