My System Specs

Default

Photo and video Editing is usually a domain dominated by Intel chips. So in order to get a small footprint but good processing power I would suggest an Intel core i5 2500k on a micro ATX P67/Z68 chipset mobo, 8 GB of ram should do it, a 120GB SSD, 2 HDDs in a raid 0 matrix for speedy workspace and scratch disk, one large 2TB or 3TB, maybe even external for saving the work projects, and as video card a GTX 550 Ti should be enough, could also allow for some hardware acceleration for the Adobe suite. A power supply in the 450w-550 W should do the trick for powering the system, an 80plus bronze certification would be nice.
