Default Protect Your Laptop From Border Searches

Having your laptop searched at the border is such a hot topic, people are still talking about it a week after the story broke. Well, the Electronic Frontier Foundation has tips to protect yourself from being searched at the border.

If you don't want to comply, CBP cannot force you to decrypt your data or give over your password. Only a judge can force you to answer questions, and then only if the Fifth Amendment does not apply.
