Thanks JackAstor, Gratz on a free core. xD
Andy, yes supaflyx3 is correct, this will fit in a mid size atx case, I have a 4 year old cooler master case just lying around collecting dust, might as well put it to use. Although I have been thinking about low profile pieces to migrate into an HTPC case later on. So maybe looking to go with a low profile cpu cooler now, open to suggestions.
Right now, might go with
COOLER MASTER RR-H101-22FK-RA 80mm Long life sleeve bearing CPU Cooler
I found an openbox power supply on newegg,
SeaSonic S12II 430B 430W ATX12V V2.3/EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
only $45.99 f/s, typically goes for $69.99 + $10 s/h so it's almost half off. Kinda feeling like I should pull the trigger on this because of Seasonics reputation for putting out good quiet and reliable power supplies.
Anyone have experience with
Crucial Ballistix sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT51264BA1339
, I'm thinking that if I do decide to go low profile with the build maybe the fins on the G.Skills will become a problem, IDK.
