First the Specs:
PSU:CoolMax v-600 (cheap:under full load provides all voltages in the safe zone, the12v is just above)
CPU:AMD Athlon II x4 645 3.1ghz 2.0mb cache
RAM:G.Skill 4GB DDR2 1066 5-5-5-15 2.05v
GPU:Diamond AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB A6870PE51G
CASE: HP MicroATX(bad airflow: will fix)

I have ran FurMark "720 Preset Bench" with bothDiamond 6870 bios two times each (total of four test) and will be compairing/posting the better of the two test per bios. Both Bios are from Diamond.

Stock BIOS with 960 Shaders:

Flashed BIOS with 1120 shaders:

Here is my opinion about this card. All the reviews online on Diamond HD 6870 is the normal refrence card and cooler. The first card that came out was that one we see online while the newer ugly red 6870 is nowhere to be found. Later on they released this cheaper one and due to the cheaper heatsink and cooling they released this BIOs so it dosent overheat.

This can be backed up because when i flashed it listed the bios version.
The stock Bios is
When i flashed to the bios with 1120 shaders it is

So the newer bios is on the newer cards that diamond modified the heatsink and cooler. So THIS IS NOT an earlier model, but a newer cheaper replacement.
