You didn't mention whether you'll be overclocking, and if so how "enthusiastically". Judging by your parts list, i would assume you will be. If you plan on overclocking that Wolfdale to high FSB's, then DDR3 could help. I would get some nice PC2 8500 Ballistix(like mine ), as most of them can run quite high speed while still maintaining good timings. On the other hand, if you're gonna be using the PC for rendering, Db and data modelling, then you won't want to overclock too high... stability should be very high priority. It's no big deal if you BSOD/crash during a game... but in the middle of a big project would blow. GL ...sorry for babbling.
