yeah that was the logic that made me wonder too...I don't need real high end sound (currently using monitor/laptop speakers) but was going to spend a few bucks on a little louder system with a sub. was just wondering which would be better...2.1 actually works out best for me as I don't know where I could put 5 satellites!?
