re-visiting this thread, no matter what ive set it 'eventually' fails and BIOS resets ... sometimes after months of stable running
best practice would seem to be getting the CPU clocked stable, THEN doin the RAM .. [id always set RAM to its 'rated' 1600mhz + 8-8-8-24 and followed with CPU]
tho this latest failure to boot was caused by the last udev version in sid, it didn't wait long enough for it's message passing socket to appear .. setting Optimised Defaults got me past it and allowed install of a fixed version [udev 169-1+c0.aptosid.1]
anyway, currently ive got vCore on Normal and im gonna work on from there
