I Disagree totally and 100% completely. I had 2 5.1 setups before my current setup and always used small "cube" speakers for fronts or "bookshelf" speakers.... they are not worth it at all in my opinion. A 3-way tower speaker for both fronts will destroy any "cube" or "bookshelf" speaker setup in terms of audio quality, frequency response and maximum power. Hands down.
