I don't know why you guys are bad mouthing Asus monitors so much. Sure, they're aimed only at the average consumer but they are really decent displays for decent cash.

Both my VW266H monitors at work are perfect (no dead pixels) and 1920 x 1200.

My VE276Q has amazing brightness and contrast (1920 x 1080).

Asus monitors aren't meant to woo hardcore enthusiasts but they are PERFECT in size and cost for a coder who needs lots of area.
