Default Looking for some input on first Game/"HTPC"

First off I would like to say, it's nice to see a Canadian site like this.

Anyways, on to the details. My main question is whether the size of PSU I have chosen will be enough for everything I have, and then any additional info given on setup would be great. Like it says in the title, this is my first project, I'm new to this, decided to build it myself rather than purchase from futureshop or whatever. Been poking around a bit and would like to have everything right, before I make the purchases. The computer I own right now, is about 7 years old, and can barely keep up with Firefox. I'm looking for a PC that can pretty much collaborate my PS3 and home PC into one (as I'm planning to sell my PS3), with a bit better performance. I will be keeping the mid-tower case, I am a welder/fabricator by trade so it will be getting cut up to accommodate for fans/airflow and a side panel window, paint also. Case is 20cm x 41cm x 46cm, top mounted PSU, 4 5.25" bays, 2 3.5" bays. Pictures here. If all goes well maybe I'll make this a before/after thread.

Might as well use this:

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. Games occasionally, HD movies occasionally, home PC.

2. What YOUR budget is. ~$1500

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from. Canada, Newegg.ca (although I believe some parts are shipped from US)

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. AMD for CPU, prefer nVidia, will go ATI/AMD if the price matches the performance.

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are. Case

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads. Been researching a little, have read a few threads on here before.

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds. If overclocking is possible with my budget, yes.

8. WHEN do you plan to build it? Next month or so.

9. What resolution do you use? Highest that is stable.

Alright, list of parts I have picked out so far:
