Once again, ATI tries to tell the gaming development community that we don't need TMUs. Once again, the performance will be sketchy and the Crossfire drivers won't come close to what Nvidia SLI can do.
The release is scheduled for June. A single GPU is suppose to be 40% faster than the HD3870, but they are going to need alot more if they want to compete with Nvidia's current lineup for games like Crysis and Call of Duty 4.
I wonder if the current AMD layoffs are going to affect the ATI section of the company.
