You AHCI in BIOS . this alows Trim to work,
You also want to enable hot swapping in BIOS ( there shuold be High preforance and somthing else) select the other one not High preforance.
set ROM drive as first boot device. hard drive as second and select boot from other device also
Shut down
Pull the Black 1 TB out. make sure system is off.
restart system
let it boot up ( should changet he BIos may reboot on you let it)
Put Windows CD in ROM drive
It should spin and take a ninute or two
should get some seletions chose
shoud boot in and atart laoding winsows to system
Have only one drive of any kind on your system( so no USB sticks or hhd) =just the SSD
Did you format the HDD ??
If not after the Windows install shut down system and install drive.
start up
Go to Search BOX thype in Format drive ( create format drive partions)
set up your drive in ACHI
format the storge drive
