That is the stock heatsink with the auxilliary fan they give you when water cooling. I agree that it is gigantic! Seems to work well enough though. I am running 1.44V through the chipset and the FSB @ 380.

It is a great and QUIET fan. I don't think they are that ugly, but I agree that I do lean towards the practical more than the looks.
