On this topic, I have a question about buying an HVR-1250. We have digital cable, but the actual box is downstairs while every other TV in the house is just regular cable with no box. If I buy a the HVR-1250 will it work just fine? or will I have the problem of needing a Digital TV box to use the signal?
Edit: All I want to watch is regular cable, the 2-62 channel cable, not HDTV, not digital 100+ channel cable.
Btw, will it still get those 100+ digital channels?
