If that's the case, I might go back to nVIDIA...
I think my 'ol Q9550 would bottleneck a Crossfire HD69** setup (old architecturel + 8x/8x PCI small loss)...
So a GTX580 or a HD6990 could be better for me... (unless I upgrade my platform this year and keep my HD5870 another year....)
I wonder if and OCed Sandy 2600K or a i7 950 @ 4.0GHz with Corsair H70 could give me a great (read noticeable) upgrade for gaming, compared to my P45/Q9550/4GB platform?
