Here is nothing new, but some light on what's coming up next for the HD69** cards...

Maybe it's true, or just a scam to make better sales!!!!

The redesigned PCB with its new TI-made driver-MOSFETs (DrMOS) could also present an opportunity for AMD to patch the Radeon HD 6950, making stream processor unlocking using BIOS flash impossible, notes the source. This development surfaced after water-cooling major Swiftech announced that it delayed the launch of its Radeon HD 6900 series full-coverage water block because AMD is revising its PCB design.

So , if it's true (who knows) and if you want an UNLOCKABLE card with volterra PWM, buy before it's too late!!!
I WAS really interested in those cards, until I seen this...even the "reference-revised" PCB will use cheaper components...
Anyway, the difference between a single HD6950 is not there compared to my Hd5870 (at my actual rez.)..
Waiting for HD6990 to make my mind!!!
