I highly doubt it matters at this point in time, and a 1.3a cable probably works for 1.4a anyways.

All 1.4 adds is 3D-support, 4K and 6K resolution, Ethernet capability, all of which you probably don't need. If you owned a 3DTV, I'd hope you would of bought a higher-end receiver. The other two aren't even in use yet that I know of.
