i dropped my ipod touch in the toilet once. It was only in there for a split second, but it was enough to screw up the screen and external speaker. The screen was fine after a couple days, but the speaker never worked until i was driving in the sw desert. i guess the heat and lack of humidity finally dried it completely because the speaker started working after that
