OP, the AC7 is a great budget cooler. But for a Q6600 at 3.0, it might be asking a little too much of it. I've been reading on Q6600 air cooling (which I don't know much), and most 3.2-3.6 oc are done with a Tuniq or a TRUE 120. A Zalman 9700 could do the trick too.
