I don't know about the first question but for the 2 other here are my advice.
2: If the fitting are not facing sown, the loop will still work, you will only add a lot of resistance to the loop that could maybe lower your performance.
3: To me a 240 is enough as long as it's a good rad, not like a swiftech crappy 240. Your TFC 240 should be fine.It will allow you to OC the CPU and then water go to the video card. It's sure that temp wont be optimal but i will work. That will also limit the GPU OC by a lot.
