well having an exhaust fan that's strategically placed to help the airflow in a particular direction isn't always a useless thing. Most cases have fans (or fan slots) on every side of the system, they can't all be drawing air in :P I personally have the large exhaust fan on my 922 still exhausting, all the other fans are intakes, bottom to top directional airflow :D
