i would actually go with the 8 series, the 870a around 100 bucks from giga is a monster i na class of its own

the problem with the 980a chipsetted boards is that they are not well 'known' and widespread as other boards, so to give you an idea of how good or bad they are, just cant.

that cpu is ok, but depending on what else you do with the computer, it might be too much or not enough. a couple of games will benefit from extra cores.

you wont be able to run at/above 1920x1080/1200 max settings all games, even with dual 460's techPowerUp :: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 SLI Review :: Page 23 / 27

although doing that good in metro and spanking the 480 (1920) shows the power/value of these beasts
