I guess the OP was describing a "non genuine windows experience" with black desktop, random reboots and all that? Could happen if the activation files (WPA.DBL/BAK) were corrupted. Doubt it's a hack/malware, more likely HDD failure or something else resulting in data corruption.
If that's the case unless the activation keys have been backed up with, e.g., ABR, then it's reactivate/reinstall. Running a HDD diagnostic would be recommended too.
