Your ID that is tied to your hotmail account, Sky drive, and XBOX live...
Losing this doesn't cause BSODs. My Win7 HTPC
isn't even aware that I have a LiveID, and it runs.
Edit: Ok, the OP might be talking about the serial key... but like the other poster said, not having one doesn't BSOD.
