Just thought I would update this post with a confirmation the board being dead. I bought a Gigabyte X58-ds4 for temporary use and the I7 920 that I bought from Arinoth as well as the 3x2gb I bought from Zsam works fine. I'll upload a cpuz screenshot.

Also, I sent the board out yesterday for RMA and crossfire has been doing his part. Even agreed to pay the rma shipping, even though it's only $19 ehehe.
