A little update. After the changes I made to the performance I did not do anything but afterwards when I tried playing blu-ray again, it was working. Almost perfectly... The only problems were the previews that looked like fireworks. The movie itself was smooth and in color this time... There even was sound... So I guess I will leave things the way they are now, unless someone comes up with a solution for me.
