My System Specs

Of course anybody who actually owns a 5870 or 5970 will tell you that for modern games, a 5870 can't output to 2 monitors without you turning down all the eye candy.

Therefore, a 5970 should be able to run 2 monitors max at high graphics settings and nothing more.

If someone actually did hook up 12 monitors to a 5970, you'd have to run it with AA and AF turned off, reduced resolution for each monitor and 16-bit color. LOL

I don't think that a lot of people realize that all this Eyefinity stuff is marketing. The 5870 and 5970 aren't actually powerful enough for this stuff. I own a 5870 and I speak from experience. The only way I can run games like GTA4 smoothly on 2 monitors is to basically run graphics at medium settings. That, in turn, begs the question why am I turning off all the eye-candy when in first place I bought the 5870 to SEE all the eye-candy?!
